Mission Briefing

Hello Agents!

Here are your objectives this week.

Math: We will learn to compare the relationship of data as represented in graphs and charts.

Science: We will learn about the environment, land formations and bodies of water.

Language Arts: We will learn to write a book report on our novel and learn more about writing opinion essays.

Social Studies: We will complete our Arctic Inuit presentations.

Bible: We will learn about Abraham and Isaac. Our memory verse is Hebrews 12:1-2.

Art: We will learn to draw a house in perspective using measurements.

Spelling: We will work on the O6 spelling list this week and have the test on Friday.

Important Notices

  • May 27 Spring Concert
    • Doors open at 6:00 pm, the concert begins at 6:30 pm
    • Students will meet in their classrooms by 6:15 pm
    • Seats will be reserved for K-3 students along each side of the gym
    • Grade 3 students will wear green, or white if green is not available (a solid colour shirt is not necessary
  • May 29 Peter Pan Play
    • We will leave at the school at 9:30 am
    • The play begins at 10:00 am
    • There are no tickets, seats are reserved for our class and the parents that made arrangements with me earlier

Math: We will learn to collect and organize data into graphs.

Science: We will learn about the environment, land formations and bodies of water.

Language Arts: We will continue our novel study and learn to write opinion essays.

Social Studies: We will finish our studies into the Arctic Inuit.

Bible: We will continue working on our pop-up book of Genesis. Our memory verse is Hebrews 12:1-2.

Art: We will finish our painting of cherry blossoms in perspective.

Spelling: We will not have a spelling list this week due to Victoria Day on Monday.

Science: We will  learn about the environment, land formations and bodies of water.

Language Arts: We will continue our novel study and learn to write opinion essays.

Social Studies: We will continue researching about Arctic Inuit Transportation and make our presentations.

Bible: We will continue working on our pop-up book of Genesis.

Art: We will learn to draw and paint in perspective.

Spelling: We will not have a spelling list this week due to the Pro D day on Friday.

  • Full dress uniforms are no longer required on Wednesdays due to the hot weather
  • May 14 Crazy Hat Day, wear uniforms
  • May 17 Pro D, no school
