Case File 0609: The Final Dispatch of the Year

Greetings, agents and families!

Our detective headquarters is buzzing with activity as we enter the final stretch of the school year. Several important missions are approaching, and we need all detectives to pay close attention to the clues below!

Case File #1: Operation Sports Day

K–6 Sports Day is this Friday!

Our annual Sports Day challenge is almost here, and we’re looking for brave parent agents to join the mission.

Parent Volunteer Mission:

We need parent helpers to help make the day a success. If you’re willing to assist, please email Naomi or your classroom teacher as soon as possible.

🚨 We need at least two parent helpers per class, but if more volunteers are willing to help, we’ll gladly recruit them! We are currently short on volunteers.

Your Mission:

  • Wander between stations and help keep events running smoothly.
  • Assist with transitions between activities.
  • Support and rescue our hardworking Grade 6 helpers when needed.
  • Parent volunteers will be running the stations, allowing teachers to move around and help where necessary.

Student Reminder:

🥨 Bring a snack! We will still have our regular recess break during the morning.

Early Dismissal: 11:30 AM

Thank you to all of our volunteer agents who help make Sports Day one of the most exciting events of the year!

Case File #3: The Waterslide Adventure

June 18 – Waterslides Field Trip

The countdown is on for our year-end adventure!

Agents should come prepared for a full day of fun, excitement, and water-filled memories. The bus leaves at 8:30 am and returns at 2:45. Students leave the park at 2:00. Parents and children who wish to pay at the park are welcome to come along, but we will not be able to provide transportation.

Remember:
✔ Bring everything you need for a day at the waterpark
✔ Be prepared for changing weather conditions
✔ Select bathing suits that prioritize modesty.

Case File #4: The Final Day Mystery

June 19 – Last Day of School

One final case remains before summer vacation begins.

Students will receive their final report cards, celebrate a fantastic year of learning, and officially close the case on another successful school year.

It has been an incredible year of learning, growing, creating, serving, and solving mysteries together.

🕵️ Detective’s Final Notes

As we wrap up the year, thank you to all our agents, families, and volunteers who have helped make our classroom community such a wonderful place. Whether you volunteered, encouraged students at home, helped with projects, or supported school events, your partnership has made a difference.

The final chapter is almost here, but there are still a few exciting adventures left before summer begins.

Stay alert, detectives. The case isn’t closed just yet!

Tuesday, June 9 – High School Transition Meeting for Parents

High School Transition Information:

We are excited to share that on Tuesday, June 9th, students will have the opportunity to meet with Mrs. MacAulay and Mrs. Lade to talk about what to expect in high school next year.

We also warmly invite all parents and guardians to join Mrs. MacAulay and Mrs. Lade in the chapel for a brief information session immediately after school, from 2:50 – 3:10 PM. It will be a wonderful chance to hear what lies ahead and ask any questions you may have.

We look forward to seeing you there!
