• How can we recognize unfair treatment?
• What does it mean to stand up for someone else?

📚 Literary Investigation: Animal Farm

We are wrapping up our study of Animal Farm, examining power, inequality, and injustice.

Ask your agent:

• How can you detect unfairness in society?
• What responsibility does a citizen have to prevent injustice?
• How does power slowly shift in the story?

The clues in fiction often reveal truths about the real world.

📝 Biography Bureau

In reading and writing, detectives are studying biographies — real stories of real people who changed the world.

Ask your detective:

• Who did you learn about this week?
• What did they accomplish?
• How did they impact others?

Great biographies show how ordinary people can make extraordinary differences.

📜 Bible Case File: The Life of David

Our detectives have been investigating the life of David — shepherd, king, warrior, poet… and a man who made both courageous and sinful choices.

Ask your agent at home:

• How can temptation slowly lead someone toward sin?

• What warning signs might we ignore along the way?

• How does the Holy Spirit convict us, revealing truth even when we try to hide from it?

• What does real repentance and redemption look like?

Detectives are learning that even when someone makes serious mistakes, the story does not have to end there. When truth is revealed and the heart turns back to God, redemption is possible.
