Hello Agents!

Here are your objectives this week.

Math: We will learn skip counting and multiplication of 6 and 7. Make sure to practice your skip counting.

Science: We will continue our experiments with matter and learn about density.

Language Arts: We will finish learning about the organization trait and introduce voice. We will also continue our mini novel studies.

Social Studies: We will continue our project to research and present information on the different regions of Canada.

Bible: Our scripture memory for October is Matthew 6: 9-13.

Art: We will learn to create volume in our painting.

Spelling: Monday, we will have our test on M3. We will work on spelling list M4 and have a test on Monday, November 25.

Important note: When practicing at home, the SWR program suggests that students sound out the words during the normal course of their day, which reinforces recognition of individual sounds. When combined with knowledge of phonograms and spelling rules, their research finds that this more effective at increasing spelling skills than rote memory by repeatedly writing out the words.
