Our Grade 5 class is looking forward to an exciting day at the Britannia Mine Museum on Tuesday! The bus will leave at 7:00 AM, so please ensure your child arrives by 6:50 AM. During our visit, we’ll spend the day exploring the museum, and we will also stop at the gift shop. Your child can bring some money if they wish to make a purchase. We’ll wrap up our trip with a short stroll to Shannon Falls before returning. If everything goes smoothly, we expect to arrive at school by 4:00 PM.  A couple of things to note:

• Please do NOT wear flip-flops or open-toed shoes, as we will spend time inside the mine.  Runners are recommended.
• Dress in layers as it will get nice and warm in the afternoon.
• Lots of snacks and bottled water.
