Mission Briefing

Hello Agents,

I loved meeting all the parents yesterday. Thank you for taking time to connect with me.

Here are your objectives this week.

  • Spelling: We will not have a spelling test this week. Instead, we will have a phonogram test on Friday.
  • Language Arts: We will work on editing and revising our personal narratives.
  • Math: We will learn how to solve word problems.
  • Social Studies: We will learn more about our the Coast Salish culture.
  • Science: We will learn about thermal energy.
  • Bible: We will continue our study of John.
  • Art: We will create an array city.

Homework:

  • Read 15 min. I am sending books home, and I will test them on fluency and comprehension in class.
  • Skip count by 2, 3, 5, and 10. Try counting with objects around the house, organizing objects into groups.
  • Spelling List Practice: Have students sound out the words. Recognizing the phonograms in each word is the most important part of how we teach students to spell with SWR.

I look forward to another fun week of learning. I’ll see you soon!

Important Reminders

  • November 20 Knights Day
  • November 25 Western Dress-Up day
