Mission Briefing
Hello Agents,
I loved meeting all the parents yesterday. Thank you for taking time to connect with me.
Here are your objectives this week.
- Spelling: We will not have a spelling test this week. Instead, we will have a phonogram test on Friday.
- Language Arts: We will work on editing and revising our personal narratives.
- Math: We will learn how to solve word problems.
- Social Studies: We will learn more about our the Coast Salish culture.
- Science: We will learn about thermal energy.
- Bible: We will continue our study of John.
- Art: We will create an array city.
Homework:
- Read 15 min. I am sending books home, and I will test them on fluency and comprehension in class.
- Skip count by 2, 3, 5, and 10. Try counting with objects around the house, organizing objects into groups.
- Spelling List Practice: Have students sound out the words. Recognizing the phonograms in each word is the most important part of how we teach students to spell with SWR.
I look forward to another fun week of learning. I’ll see you soon!
