I have an important update on www.kidsa-z.com. When you follow the link, you’ll see large space for your teacher’s username. My username is dwolfsen. Then you should be able to choose your username and enter your password. Also, to log into Brain Pop Jr., enter the class code: family7718 and sign up for a new account if you don’t have one. You’ll just need to make a username and password.

  • a new list has been assigned for you this week. Start practicing 🙂
• Reading A-Z:
  • Start reading and let me know if the books are too easy or too difficult.
  • Take the Headsprout placement test and start the activities.
• Xtramath:
  • Take the placement test and practice math facts.

This week we will be focusing on developing our work area, our learning tools, and our curiosity.

These are our learning objectives:

• Set up a work area.
  • Find the most peaceful, clean, and quite place that you can. Make sure to fix it up to make it feel welcoming.
• Sign up to our resources.
  • Log in to our online resources and make sure your account works.
• Explore.
  • See what these learning tools have to offer and take notes of what works, what doesn’t, and what you need.

Finally, it’s very important to plan out your week and record what you have done and what you need. When we have our conference, I’m going to ask you what you have done to meet your learning objectives and what obstacles are in your way. Make sure these down so that we can help work through any challenges you have.
